I am excited to announce that the theme for my March Meditation Monday is: The Power Chakra. Join me for the next 7 months as we journey through the Chakras, adding awareness to each of our energy centers and opening them to receive.
Do you feel like you need direction? Do you desire a boost in motivation and willpower? Would you like to increase your self esteem and self image? Do you feel helpless in your life easily? Do you have pancreas, digestive system or metabolic issues? Then the Power (or solar plexus) Chakra class is for you. The yellow energy of the solar plexus is our fire and driving force in life. It’s the actions we take. When this chakra is open, healthy mental thoughts increase our confidence and self discipline. Shame will block the energy flow to our power chakra. Join me for a lesson, guided meditation, mindfulness meditation and group Reiki session meant to lessen any shame or stagnation around your power energy center. Where: Station Wellness Collective 107-785 Station Ave, Langford
When: Monday March 18th 7:00-8:00pm (classes take place once a month usually on the third Monday)
What: An hour long learning and practice session including:
-A handout explaining the history, basic posture and technique
-Discussion of class theme
-Mindfulness meditation with music (during this time I beam Reiki energy to each student to enhance their meditation)
-Follow up discussion with questions
Price: $15 (exact cash, cheque, e-transfer and credit card accepted). Please bring your form of payment with you, it will be collected at the beginning of class along with your name and email address.
What to bring: A meditation pillow if you have one (or rolled up towels) and a mat or blanket to place under your pillow (to cushion your ankles on the floor). This will allow you to practice the most beneficial posture. *There will be chairs provided for easy seated posture.* If you wish to lie down, please bring your own mat and pillows for your comfort.
Wear loose and comfortable clothing. Arrive 10 minutes early to set up your space.
