I’m excited to announce the theme for my February Meditation Monday is self love! 💕
I find that one needs some degree of self love to practice meditation. With self love, it’s easy to make time for yourself every day to sit and reflect. It can be even easier though to distract ourselves with things other than our emotional health. It can be a heavy subject and easily left out of our busy daily routine. When self love is present, we make time to feel our emotions honestly and validate them. With the non-judgmental observation obtained in mindfulness meditation, we can feel compassion for all emotions present in our body. This in turn raises compassion for all beings.
